Which service do I need?

Picking the Right Service

Dryer Vent Inspection, $79

A look at the whole system from the dryer connection to the outside vent, without cleaning. We check duct material and sizing, kinks and tight bends, the seals at every connection, and the exterior hood, then run a camera scope through the run. Useful after moving into a home, after new construction, or any time you want to know the system is safe and code compliant.

Dryer Vent Cleaning, from $185

A full cleaning from the dryer to the exterior termination: $185 when the vent ends on the first floor, $225 on the second story, and $265 on the roof. Camera scope before and after, and airflow verified with the dryer running. Recommended once a year for most households.

Bird Nest Removal, $100

For a hood blocked by a bird or squirrel nest or packed debris. Nests are common in spring and summer. We clear the terminal, and the duct from inside if the blockage runs deep, then test the airflow.

Dryer Vent Repair and Installation

For crushed or kinked hose, too many elbows, runs that are too long, or a termination installed wrong. Work ranges from a new DryerFlex transition hose at $75 to a full reroute in 26 gauge rigid galvanized steel, quoted per visit.

How every job starts

See It Before You Pay for It

Every visit starts with an honest look at your system. We provide a thorough estimate that includes a lint scope camera inspection on request, an accurate airflow test, and a detailed lint level report. You see exactly what is in your vent and know the condition of your system before making any decisions.

There is no pressure and no upselling. If it is not necessary, we will not recommend it. Dryer vent cleaning is our specialty, not just a service we offer, so every job gets the same full-system process instead of a quick pass at the outside vent.

We offer all our services with fast, reliable scheduling, often available within 24 hours, across Morris County and North Jersey.

How often

How Often Should You Clean Your Dryer Vent?

The Consumer Product Safety Commission and most major dryer manufacturers recommend a dryer vent cleaning at least once a year. The real answer for your home comes down to how much you use the dryer. If you run several loads every few days, twice a year is a better target. These four things make the biggest difference:

Family size

The bigger your family, the more laundry you do, and every load adds lint to the vent. Larger households should clean more often to prevent clogs.

Pets

Pet hair ends up in the laundry and adds to lint buildup, so pet owners should make the yearly cleaning a priority.

Where the dryer sits

A long vent run, or one with lots of bends, collects lint in spots that are hard to reach without professional tools.

What you wash

Towels, blankets and other heavy fabrics shed more lint as they dry. If they are a regular part of your laundry, clean the vent more often.

Between professional cleanings, clean the lint trap after every load, check that air is flowing from the vent outside while the dryer runs, and make sure the exterior vent cover is not blocked. Those habits keep the system running well, but they do not reach the lint packed deep in the duct run. That part takes professional tools, and it is what every service on this page is built around.

FAQs

Dryer Vent Cleaning Services: Frequently Asked Questions

Are dryer vent cleaning services worth it?

We think so. The U.S. Fire Administration counts about 2,900 home clothes dryer fires a year, and failure to clean is the leading cause. As Rob puts it, spending a few extra bucks once a year is worth the peace of mind.
