Common Dryer Vent Cleaning Challenges in Parsippany, NJ
NOAA's weather station at Canoe Brook averages 24.3 days a year with at least 1 inch of snow on the ground, per its 1991-2020 normals. The U.S. Fire Administration says to keep dryer vents clear of snow and other debris, and our cleaning clears lint and debris out of the exterior hood.
- Clothes take longer to dry
- The dryer or laundry room feels hot
- A burning or musty odor
- Weak airflow outside
- Lint around the exterior vent
If a normal load now needs more than one cycle, schedule a vent check instead of waiting for the problem to get worse.

Parsippany-Troy Hills is the most populous municipality in Morris County, with 56,162 residents in the 2020 census. The name Parsippany comes from the Lenape word parsipanong, usually translated as 'the place where the river winds through the valley'. The Troy Hills half was once just Troy, and it was renamed so that mail stopped going to Troy, New York by mistake.
The township was carved out of Hanover Township by an act of the Legislature on March 12, 1928, after a referendum that also created East Hanover. Money magazine has put Parsippany on its 'Best Places to Live in the United States' list eight times since 2006, most recently at 15th in 2022.
