Hello, my name is Rob, the owner of The Lint Guys.
I was raised my whole life in the middle of New Jersey, right in Mendham. Been here since elementary, studied at CCM for 2 years then Rutgers for the rest. I was on the fire department in my high school years, and had my first interaction with dryer fires here.
There were a few reasons why I started this company. What first got me into cleaning dryer vents was that my father works with a lot of seniors, and he got requests to do it for them all the time. My mission is that you can trust that your elderly parents won’t be pressured into getting their gutters cleaned when all they wanted was for their dryer to work again. I want a world where this profession is done by a professional, not someone who sees it as the latest side gig. If it’s not done right, it can lead to property loss or even death in a fire.
